Over the last 17 years, GS1 Hong Kong has been at the forefront in the globalization and digitization of the collaborative supply chain.  

Since our inception we have evolved from a modest local GS1 barcode numbering association to become champions of the provision of next generation supply chain technologies and related services, such as Electronic Product Codes (EPC) and Global Data Synchronization (GDS), to Hong Kong enterprises.

The increasing recognition of the importance of global standards and the accompanying enabling technologies has made us essential partner with local businesses to better manage and improve their performance and so develop a competitive edge in the global marketplace.

GS1 Hong Kong, the new name for the Hong Kong Article Numbering Association, will continue to play a pivotal role in this exciting global movement, working with our colleagues in 145 countries and economies across 23 industries around the world to strengthen the network through improved technology and resources.  We are committed to continuing to provide our members and business partners in Hong Kong with professional support which will help them, build their worldwide businesses into centers of excellence.
