ECR Hong Kong (ECR HK) is a member of ECR Asia, and hosted by GS1 Hong Kong. It is a joint industry forum comprising members from local retailers, distributors, traders, manufacturers and supporting organizations with aims to facilitate the development and adoption of global ECR concepts in Hong Kong.

Established in 1996, the ECR HK strives to assist the “fast-moving consumer goods” sector in enhancing the domestic and international competitiveness by removing extraneous cost from the supply chain and increasing responsiveness to fluctuations in consumer demand through ECR techniques. ECR HK also advises the local business community on efficient trade practices, which is a critcal factor in the development of relaible infrastructure for intra-industry trade. In addition, the organisation promotes supply chain management (SCM) adoption to local industry and help enterprises connect with regional and international SCM and ECR bodies.
