Membership & Services Membership GS1 Hong Kong features seven membership categories to accommodate the diverse needs of enterprises as well as facilitate the professional development of SCM. Full Membership You will be allocated the international GS1 identification numbers for products (GTIN), location (GLN) and shipment (SSCC) by joining as our full member. The full membership offers the broadest range of entitlements across all membership types. EZ*TRADE Membership EZ*TRADE provides you a one-stop B2B document exchanges platform for conducting data exchange with your trading partners. EZ*TRADE Membership furnishes you with an access to this most commonly used electronic data communications platform in the local retailing and distribution sectors. SSCC (Serial Shipping Container Code) Membership The SSCC is a unique, non-significant, fixed length, 18-digit number which is coded with a GS1 -128 symbology. It can be used by all parties involved in the supply chain as a reference number to the relevant information held in computer files. Global Data Synchronization Membership GDS membership provides you with an access to utilize the HK Data Pool to exchange accurate, up-to-date master data with your trading partners using the GS1 standards. EPCglobal Membership EPC (Electronic Product Code) is a key to supply chain visibility, the EPCglobal Network™ will enable organization to be responsive to customer and consumer needs through more efficient supply chain operations. The EPC membership contains two general categories – End User and Solution Partners. Membership subscribers are provided with access to the EPCglobal Network™ and End User subscribers are assigned with EPC Manager Numbers. Vendor Alliance Program Membership As an endeavor to nurture a collaborative atmosphere, GS1 Hong Kong initiates the VAP (Vendor Alliance Program) to bring the GS1 users and IT community closer for mutual benefits.
