Best Practice is a current, structured, proven and repeatable method for making a positive impact on desired operational results. It must not be emerging and must not be antiquated. It has clearly stated goal, scope process and procedures. Success should have been demonstrated in working environment and is replicable. Best practice can take form of business process, practice, organisation strategy, enabling technology, business relationship, business model as well as information or knowledge management, with the purposes to bring operational improvement related to the stated goal.
