Our library houses a wealth of literature about the latest trends in e-commerce, industrial supply chain engineering and promising business practices. Members are free to read through books, industry publications, magazines, trade journals, research papers, industry cases, manuals and periodicals. Multi-media collections are good referencing for interactive learning.

Information Search :
There are two systems for search library information. One is OPAC system being installed in the computers physically located at the Knowledge Centre. If you want to access in a remote through your web browser online at office or home, you can use simply click Online Search.
Library Rules and RegulationsWhen you are using our library services, you are abided by the rules and regulations, please read the following Circulation to Regulations. Circulation Users can visit the Library in person or access its information via the World Wide Web. Registered users can borrow, renew or reserve library materials. Each registered user can borrow a maximum of 5 items for one week (i.e. 7 calendar days). A fine of HK$10 is levied for each overdue item (Sunday and Public holidays not included). If an item is recalled, users should return retained item as soon as possible. Materials restricted to on-site use include: periodicals, books, some reference tools and GS1 collection items.
Reservation For any reservation or renewal of library materials, we accept users to make any booking over-the-phone at 2861-8219. If your reserved item is made through OPAC or via online searching system, please allow half working day processing for your pick-up. The reserved items will normally be kept for FIVE working days only.
Reference Services We provide basic reference services to assist library users, particularly relating to article numbering and supply chain management and directories. Reference materials are restricted for on-site reference only.
Copyright & Photocopying With reference to laws on copyright, users must observe local legislation on protection of intellectual property and copyright infringement. Any substantial reproduction of a copyrighted work will constitute copyright infringement. It is a criminal offence to possess illegal copies of copyrighted material for the purposes of trade or business. Photocopying service is available upon request.
Regulations
The GS1 Hong Kong Library reserves the right to determine its operational policies.
Users must observe Library Regulations at all times.
Please keep quiet in the Library.
Users must not allow other persons to use his/her Library Card.
Loss/damage of library materials must be reported and compensated. |
