Nowadays, the rapid expansion of international trading and modern food supply chain provides more diversified, lower-cost and convenient food to people. However, these globalised food supply activities also emerge hidden food safety risk that require greater collaboration between regulators and industry stakeholders at all levels around the world to protect the people’s health and safety.

Asia Food Safety and Product Quality Forum organized by GS1 Hong Kong on 6 March, 2012 is a unique opportunity for over 200 Asian regulators and industry stakeholders to share knowledge, best practices and latest regulatory policies on how to build a safer future and better quality of life for people.
