Manager, Business Development – Smart Business Solutions
Role Overview
The Manager, Business Development is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction across assigned customer groups, partners, and industry sectors. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing the full sales lifecycle, and promoting smart business solutions including IoT, barcode, data service, sustainability and traceability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction across customer segments, partners, and industry verticals
• Proactively identify, acquire, and develop new customers to expand sales markets
• Build and manage both new and existing client portfolios independently
• Collaborate closely with the solution marketing team to plan and execute marketing and PR initiatives
• Manage customer relationships throughout the entire engagement lifecycle to ensure long-term satisfaction
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, requirements analysis, solution alignment with pre-sales teams, proposal preparation, negotiation, order closing, project execution, and payment collection
• Promote and sell smart business solutions, including IoT, data service, sustainability and traceability solutions
• Manage and align internal and external stakeholder expectations
• Review project timelines and budgets to ensure commercial and operational alignment
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches
Requirements
• Strong understanding of process of supply Chain, sustainability and traceability solutions, particularly within supply chain management, retail, logistics, and healthcare sectors
• Hands-on experience in IT implementation projects
• Proven business development experience, including market identification, strategy development, and solution-driven selling
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present quarterly targets, forecasts, and pipeline reviews
• Highly motivated to grow the business through new customers, markets, and territories
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into effective solutions
• Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software solution sales, including at least 3 years in IT related business
• Solid knowledge of direct marketing practices with a verifiable sales track record
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager or Senior Officer, Business Development roles.
Senior Officer, Member Engagement
Job Summary
Senior officer, Member Engagement is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with GS1 HK members by delivering exceptional engagement experiences. This role focuses on driving member retention, loyalty and revenue growth through proactive outreach, value-added services, and well-executed events and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with existing and new GS1 HK members to understand their business needs and promote both core membership benefits and value-added services.
- Collaborate closely with strategic partners and service providers to develop and deliver high-value solutions tailored to GS1 HK members.
- Plan, organize and execute a variety of events, seminars, workshops and activities (including industry awards such as the Consumer Caring Scheme and Go Global) to promote value-added services and enhance member experience.
- Conduct warm calls to members to encourage participation and support for GS1 HK events and initiatives.
- Perform ongoing research and analysis of members’ needs, industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics to identify opportunities and continuously improve member programs.
- Revamp and drive the development of new value-added programs and initiatives to increase member loyalty and stickiness.
- Manage event operations with strong attention to detail, ensuring smooth execution even under tight timelines.
- Provide operational support and contribute to ad-hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirement:
- Degree holder
- Demonstrated expertise in member engagement, customer relationship management, or comparable areas is preferred, particularly with a history of consistently meeting revenue objectives.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills, capable of efficiently arranging meetings and large-scale member activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in drafting meeting minutes and activity plans.
- Familiar with GS1 standards and related membership services is an advantage; ability to quickly learn and master relevant business knowledge.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team to meet work objectives.
Accounting Clerk (1 year contract)
Responsibilities :
• Perform accounting related duties including AR/AP, month-end closing
• Handle daily cheque, cash receivable and bank transactions
• Assist in ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements :
• Diploma or above in Accounting or related disciplines
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in accounting
• Good command of Chinese and English (spoken, written, and typing)
• Strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, accuracy of works
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

ezTRADE Assistant Service Manager
Job Description
Reporting to: Head of the department
This role is responsible for driving supplier recruitment, onboarding, community growth, and ongoing customer service for ezTRADE — GS1 Hong Kong's flagship B2B EDI platform. Working closely with retail hub partners (including DFI, ASW, YATA, HKTV, and others), the incumbent manages the end-to-end supplier onboarding lifecycle from initial engagement through to go-live, while maintaining clear programme tracking, issue escalation, user support, and regular reporting to management.
Responsibilities
Supplier Onboarding & Community Growth
• Own and execute the annual supplier onboarding plan for all assigned retail hub accounts, managing the full pipeline from initial outreach through to go-live
• Proactively recruit non-EDI suppliers through structured engagement campaigns, individual demos, and incentive programmes, with batched strategies tailored to supplier volume and priority
• Coordinate with hub partners on supplier lists, invitation campaigns, and onboarding timelines; identify and escalate blockers with clear owner assignment and resolution deadlines
Customer Service, Helpdesk & Training
• In collaboration with the outsourced helpdesk team, provide timely helpdesk support to selected ezTRADE users on platform usage, EDI transaction issues, and operational queries; manage issue resolution end-to-end in coordination with internal and external technical teams
• Design and deliver training programmes, workshops, and webinars for new and existing users, and maintain up-to-date user guides and support materials
Account Management & Reporting
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned retail hub accounts; conduct regular meetings and prepare structured updates covering programme status, risks, and action plans
• Produce weekly written status reports for the Head of the department, including KPI scorecard, blocker log, period-over-period progress, and next steps
• Track onboarding performance against annual financial year targets and proactively flag risks with proposed mitigation actions
Mandatory Requirements
• University degree or above
• At least 4–6 years of experience in B2B services, account management, customer service, or EDI/supply chain operations
• Demonstrated project management skills — able to plan, execute, and track multiple onboarding projects simultaneously with clear milestones, owners, and deadlines
• Strong written communication skills in English and Chinese — able to produce clear, structured professional reports independently and to a high standard
• Analytical, customer-oriented, and detail-oriented — able to interpret programme data, translate findings into clear insights and recommendations, and present them confidently to users of varying technical ability, while taking full
ownership of work quality without requiring close supervision
• Fluent in English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools (Zoom/Teams)
Optional Requirements
• Knowledge of GS1 standards (GTIN, GLN, EANCOM/EDIFACT)
• Experience with EDI platforms or electronic document exchange (purchase orders, invoices, remittance advice, shipment notices)
• Familiarity with retail, FMCG, food service, or healthcare industry in Hong Kong
• Experience working with major Hong Kong retailers or their supplier communities
• Project management or service management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or equivalent)
