Under the EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the Digital Product Passport (DPP) is rolling out in phases. High-priority sectors such as batteries, textiles, electronics, and construction materials, should prioritise readiness for the 2027 requirements.

Mandatory for physical goods entering the EU market, the DPP requires comprehensive lifecycle data—from material origins to carbon footprints - accessible via a single, standardized data carrier (e.g.: QR code, RFID…etc.).
