Capitalising on the Belt & Road Initiative

The first-ever GS1 Hong Kong’s Belt & Road Forum ended on a high note, featuring visionary speakers and experts from the HKSAR Government, Economic and Information Commission of Guangdong Province, international associations and consultancy firm who shared with over 100 audience their insights on a wide range of topics, including macro view of Great Bay Area and Belt and Road development, trade and logistics connectivity, Guangdong-Hong Kong cooperation in Big Bay Area development and fin-tech development along the Belt & Road region etc.

Earlier this month, GS1 HK also met with Mr. Liu Yajun, Deputy Director-General of Economics Affairs Department of Commercial Office to share our views on 2 subjects, GS1 HK’s recommendations and actions on Belt & Road, and explore the informatisation strategies and practices by HK and Big Bay Area that can support the Belt & Road initiative.
