Digital Product Passport (DPP) Training |
Let’s think again about 2D, Registries, and Digital Links |
This session will cover the global healthcare strategy, focusing on key topics such as "One Product, One Barcode," clinical systems, and emerging technologies with discussions how locally these can be supported. It will also equip MOs to effectively engage with hospitals, showcasing the benefits of GS1 standards and barcode scanning. We will demonstrate how these standards improve the hospital environment using the GS1 Hospital model and supporting materials. This will help you strengthen strategic engagement with local hospitals while learning from regional colleagues as they share their practical implementation experiences. |
Designed as an interactive and discussion-based session, the content will focus on how to start engagement and address common questions, barriers and objections along the 2D implementation journey. Attendees will also learn about the resources available to help. | This session will take a closer look at the core components—GS1 Digital Links, the Links Registry, and Resolver services. Attendees will explore the business drivers behind each, when to use them, and how they fit into the connected data landscape established in the first session. The session will clarify the role of each tool in enabling MOs to offer connected data capabilities. | This session will focus on equipping the attendees with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the Digital Product Passport (DPP), a globally impactful regulation adopted by the European Union in July. The session will cover the legislative details of the DPP and explore how GS1 standards can help companies meet the regulatory requirements in relation to DPP compliance. To support these efforts, GS1 has established an open-to-all Mission Specific Working Group (MSWG) to adapt its system, focusing on Circularity and the Digital Product Passport. | Join us to hear the key messages from Tuesday’s training and then take the opportunity in a small group format / online to ask for questions and clarification. |
