Summary

Today's healthcare industry faces growing pressures as the number of patients accelerates. While FHB is setting plan and directions on providing patient-centred care under the ten-year hospital and healthcare development blueprint, we believe healthcare stakeholders have many dialogues and exchanges with different countries' healthcare agencies and institutions for the global trend and strategies on driving patient-centred healthcare safety.

Overview

About the Meeting

Today's healthcare industry faces growing pressures as the number of patients accelerates. While FHB is setting plan and directions on providing patient-centred care under the ten-year hospital and healthcare development blueprint, we believe healthcare stakeholders have many dialogues and exchanges with different countries' healthcare agencies and institutions for the global trend and strategies on driving patient-centred healthcare safety.

Prof. Philip Dean of NHS UK will be visiting Hong Kong during 17-19 February. We would like to take this opportunity to have him meeting and exchanging views with HK healthcare stakeholders.  He could share his experience of NHS “Scan4Safety” Project on enhancing pharmacy procurement and operation support, resulting in improving patient care and savings in NHS hospital in England.
