Sandy Tan is Executive Director, Head of Ecosystems, Institutional Banking Group, DBS Bank Hong Kong. She oversees the strategy and execution of the bank’s business partnerships to deliver ecosystems solutions that provide value-added services to our clients. 

Sandy has a wealth of experience in the banking industry, having been part of DBS Group for over 20 years. In 2019, Sandy took on her current role in Hong Kong and has gone on to launch numerous innovative partnerships for the bank – collaborating with leading Asian players in e-commerce, supply chain management and fintech.

Ella Yu is a Senior Vice President within DBS Bank’s Institutional Banking Group. She oversees the bank’s partnerships with large corporates and platforms to create winning solutions for Hong Kong SMEs. Ella has over 15 years of experience in banking, financial management, accounting and audit services. Prior to joining DBS Bank in 2019, Ella worked with Crown World Mobility, AECOM and Arup.

Dr. Lam joined GS1 Hong Kong in 2016 and serves as the Chief Operating Officer overseeing solutions development and deployment, consultancy services and business development, facilitating corporate members’ adoption of GS1 global standards and technologies, to empower business to grow and to improve efficiency, safety, authenticity and sustainability, through Go Digital and Go Smart. 

Before joining GS1 Hong Kong, Dr. Lam had spent more than 20 years in IT industry, had served as senior product management and business development leader in several renowned hi-tech companies including IBM, Akamai, WebEx and Coremetrics in Hong Kong with proven records in leading complex business adoptions in cloud computing, AI and data analytics. 

When he was in the Silicon Valley, he was the founding technical staff of VC funded startups Internet Travel Network and Utopia Communications. He also worked for a number of NASDAQ companies, such as CICI, Excite@Home and Cambridge Technology Partner in both product development and management capacity.  

Dr. Lam graduated from the State University of New York with PhD in Computer Science. He specialized in AI, Data Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision, and has authored more than 30 refereed publications. He also has 3 co-owned patents in Machine Reading and Smart Retail.
